Edmund Torbush was a member of the Atlanta Typographical Union (International Typographical Union, Local 48) who worked for Atlanta Newspapers, Inc. His papers include correspondence, minutes, news clippings, printed materials, pamphlets, photographs pertaining to the International Typographical Union, the Atlanta Typographical Union, and its Women's Auxiliary. The papers also contains artifacts used in the typesetting profession.

Abstract: Peter J. Conlon was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1869 and raised in Springfield, Illinois. He joined the International Association of Machinists in 1890 and served as an early organizer for the union. In 1895 he was elected to its General Executive Board. He later served the IAM as First Vice President, General Organizer, and Vice President for the United States before his death in March 1931. Stanton E. Smith (born 1905) was a labor leader in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He served as President of the Tennessee Federation of Labor and of the Tennessee State Labor Council. Smith's papers, 1938-1973, are comprised primarily of correspondence and other documents relating to his duties in those organizations, the Chattanooga Central Labor Union, and the Southern Labor School. William N. Jenkins collection

The collection consists primarily of artifacts and non-printed materials, collected through Jenkins' association with the UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers) and the RCIA (Retail Clerks International Association) Local 1063. The bulk of these artifacts are plaques presented to Jenkins in recognition of his continual achievements in his field. Other artifacts include memorabilia from conventions, including convention brochures, as well as photographs.
